Pressure Calibration In Our Leeds Calibration Lab

Automated Calibration Takes the Pain Out Of Pressure

When it comes to calibrating pressure gauges and indicators, our Leeds office is second to none. Using the latest GE Druck PACE pressure controller, tasks that used to take for ever are now completed in seconds using the touch screen.

The Druck PACE 6000 pneumatic pressure controller brings together the latest pressure control and measurement technology to offer an elegant and economical solution to pressure control for production, test and calibration.

It employs full digital control to provide high control stability and high slew rate, while its digitally characterized pressure sensor offers the quality, stability, higher bandwidth and precision associated with this latest generation of piezo-resistive devices.

Digital Manometer Calibration

Using the PACE 6000, our calibration technicians have become adept at calibrating all manor of pressure testing devices. Digital manometers from Comark, Digitron and Druck can easily be calibrated, and if need be, adjusted and re-tested, all within a short space of time.

“ The PACE6000 single/dual-channel, Pressure Automated Calibration Equipment measures and controls pneumatic pressures and displays, on a touch-screen, the pressure measurement and controller status. The touch-screen enables selections and settings in both measure and control modes. ”

Today’s laboratory calibration equipment offers easy communication with software and can provide 100% automated calibration of pressure transducers and transmitters. However, this is not a perfect solution because, naturally, instruments can drift between these calibration intervals. An obvious answer to this is to calibrate more frequently, but this entails increased time and cost, both in lost production and in calibration resource.

Pressure Gauge Calibration

Pressure gauges are one of the most commonly used and relied upon instruments in today’s manufacturing environment. Because they seem to be everywhere, there is often a lack of attention given to pressure gauge calibration intervals and staff just assume that they are giving an accurate reading even when they are out of calibration.

Why not give our Leeds office a call on 0113 235-1356 to find out about having your pressure gauges calibrated? It's better to be safe than sorry!
